The UPSC has declared the final list of selected candidates based on the result of the written part of Civil Services Examination, 2019 held in September 2019 and the interviews or Personality Test held in February-August, 2020.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday announced the results of the Civil Service Examination-2019. In which Pradipsinh has been top. Jatin Kishore is second and Pratibha Verma is third. The UPSC has only named the toppers, not the rest of the information. Total of 829 candidates have been selecte. These include 304 candidates from General, 78 from EWS, 251 from OBC, and 67 from ST.

Selection in these four services

1.Indian Administrative Service (IAS)

2. Indian Foreign Service (IFS)

3. Indian Police Service (IPS)

4. Central Services, Group A, and B.

The written examination for UPSC Civil Service was held in September 2019. The final results were announced after a personal interview between February and August this year.

Pratibha Verma is the topper among women candidates.  Candidates who had appeared for the UPSC Civil Services Exam should note that the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2019 result or the provisional appointment list for the candidates has been released on the official website. 

Students should note that the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the list, in order of merit, of candidates who have been recommended for appointment to:

(i) Indian Administrative Service;

(ii) Indian Foreign Service;(iii) Indian Police Service; and(iv) Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’

To check the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2019 result, students should visit the official website upsc.gov.in. The candidates should note that a total of 829 candidates has recommended for appointment, the break-up of which is given below category wise:
